JobsOhio Cleared for Takeoff

It seems as if the drawn out legal issues for JobsOhio are behind us, at least according to the 1oth District court of appeals. The court has cleared the way for the transaction that would allow the sale of bonds to fund JobsOhio, and according to Mark Kvamme, everything should be in place by year’s end, giving economic development in Ohio a big boost. Romney: Father’s Day in Newark

Mitt Romney held a rally in the central Ohio town city of Newark yesterday, promising to restore American’s “fair shot” if voters put him in charge of the White House in November. Battle for Ohio

As the Indians and the Reds get ready to fight the Battle of Ohio in Cincinnati this week, Governor Romney and President Obama thought it would be appropriate to compliment that fanfare with what can only be called the Battle for Ohio – that race for president in this key swing state. Each candidate has appearances scheduled in Ohio this week – Romney in Cincinnati on Wednesday, Brunswick on Sunday, and Obama in Cleveland for an event on Thursday.
